Good Morning Delmarva! We started off the weekend a little early by showing up to the WMDT television station for an interview. The interview went well and at the end we got to plug our bunker buddy John Henry from "John Henry's bait and tackle." After the interview Sheri and I grabbed some supplies at the Food Lion and hit the beach.

The FOF Team was back in Assateague This weekend the FOF boys will be heading back for more fun in Assateague but this time were involved in a little research as well. Any shark we catch will be identified, measured, tagged and released. We are very excited about being involved with the research end of our fishing line. We also would like to encourage any other members of the FOF Team to get involved. Contact NOAA on the internet and they will give you all the info you need to get started. Check out the shark pics.
The sharks didn't show up on this surf fishing trip to Ocean County New Jersey. But that didn't stop the crew from crabbing and having a great time with friends at the beach.
The FOF team extended shark fishing week and managing to land 10 big sharks in 4 days of fishing. We wanted to make it a seven day fish fest at the beach but the biting flies and nasty mosquitoes took over the beach for a few days, little bastards!

In total we landed 10 nice sharks in Assateague Island surf fishing from the beach. The first cast hooked a 100LB dusky right off the bat before I could even get my other fishing rod out. The rest of the day we caught fish after fish. Nice sharks in 20 casts from the shore! Just look at the images of the fish.

FOF presented the team at Orange County Choppers with their own personalized Shore Shot Bait Caster. We decided to cancel our surf fishing show in Florida and take a chance on meeting the guys from Orange County Choppers. We figured these guys probably love fishing and shooting, so why not build them a custom caster with their name on it?
